How you could reduce the amount of waste produced at school.
Find out what is already being done at your school to reduce waste, for example recycling, composting organic material. What more could be done? Some ideas!

Come on girls, pedal faster! The case of the missing bracelet - solved by Johanna! All children accounted for...we are on our way home. Not long now until we head off on our grade 6 camp - only 13 hours!. Make sure you check your list of what you need to bring and what you need to leave at home. You also need to make sure you have a small case that YOU can carry! Check out the following video - this guy knows how to pack! Remember to bring a hat, sunscreen, drink bottle and lunch for tomorrow. See you all at the train station.
Entry is NOW OPEN in the 2014 Schools Writing Competition! Students all over Australia are invited to enter their short stories OR poems, and battle it out for the great cash prizes on offer. There is no theme!! Entrants are encouraged to let their imaginations run wild and get their creative juices flowing to write on ANY TOPIC and in ANY STYLE. Students from ALL GRADES are welcome to enter - Kindergarten to Grade 12. Entry is FREE and all entries must be in by Sunday 30th March 2014. The Book Poems and short stories entered into the competition will be considered for inclusion into our 2014 Write4fun anthology! Those selected will have the opportunity to purchase the edition at a discounted rate. 1st, 2nd and 3rd prizewinners will receive a complimentary copy of the book.
