Today we recited our 16 times tables for the Vicar. He was not impressed with some of our handwriting and also scolded Ma'am, saying we need more instruction in this area.
We toured the diggings and tried our luck at gold panning. Some were lucky to find gold. Eureka!
Our fees were paid to Ma'am and after visiting the Red Hill School, we realised how lucky we were to attend St. Peter's.
Congratulations to Kynan, who was offered employment on Mrs Ramsbottom's farm due to his wonderful behaviour, manners and improved arithmetic. Elizabeth and Zoe were offered employment at the Criterion store thanks to their sewing skills.
Tanner was awarded the overall award for his wonderful role-playing, manners and behaviour. Poor Tanner was given a hard time by Ma'am and the Vicar as his blacksmith father was a drunkard (in the role play). The Vicar had taken his horse to Tanner's father asking for it to be shod. Unfortunately, it was SHOT!
